JOSSELYN TEEN CENTER
This ongoing project consists of the transformation of an existing facility into a adolescent mental health center.
The four group therapy rooms that host Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) anchor not only the center's function but also the floor plan's organization. They are surrounded by support spaces, including family therapy and individual therapy offices.
Meanwhile, the front of the building facing north consists of primarily public or shared spaces with a playful twist.
The goal of the entire project is to create a space that promotes calmness but also incites creativity and expression. A space that feels fun and distinctly un-medical.
